Mönichkirchen/Lower Austria [ENA] On August 6th within the scope of this year’s Rocky Mountain Festival in the small and sedate market town, close to the Styrian border, the five 'metal sailors' presented their new album 'Anchors Aweight' - the icing on the cake of a great event for their numerous fans.

Since 2009 Patrick Kubin (vocals), Thomas Trausmuth, Rene Sulzer (both guitar), Philipp Kager (bass) and his brother Lukas (drums) are sailing under the flag called Death Mentality. Their cruise to the Rocky Mountain Festival was a short one because the whole 'death metal ship’s crew' is living around the corner. No wonder that the lion part of the audience mostly had come to celebrate the neighborhood boys, showing their colors, wearing T-shirts and zippers decorated by the emblames of their local heroes. Even grandparents of the band members were on hand, ready 'to be off to the sea', ready for a journey through the blustering waves of heavy metal.

'Through the Storm'

Already the sound check was revealing what was waiting for the 'passengers' and right away after 'setting sails' there was party 'on board' like there was no tomorrow. Brutal, like in former times galley slaves were kept on their toes, Lukas was thrashing his 'Aunt Sally' to keep the 'highspeed metal sailors' infront of him happy. Backed by Philipp, lambasting his dead blasting out 'steam hammer' almost to the 'Nemesis Of Sense', while the guitars of Rene and Tommy had their fights with each other, battles between melodic tit for tat right up to 'The Plague Of Hate'. Perfected by Captain Patricks thundering voice piercing marrow and bone, which would put every hobgoblin to rout, this voyage turned out great!
